MUSIC ED DEGREE!

I just received this E-Mail from a very recent and good friend from somewhere up north.

"Just thought that you should know, the BS in Music Education degree is on schedule to presented to the Board of Regents for their next Meeting on October 29th."

There are not words to express how happy I am right now. I seriously think I'm going to go cry now.

Crazy for you

So I might be subbing for a friend at tuachan in a musical comedy called crazy for you. I got to sit in the pit last night to look over the part while my friend was playing. So I got to see a lot of the play itself. It was a blast! This is the musical that the song "I've got rhythm" came from. I was so excited, the entire rest of the play was great too. I definitely want to see it for fun now, instead of in the pit. Anyway, there you go :)

New iPod touch!

My brand new iPod touch 4g just came in the mail today and I'm WAY EXCITED! I'm writing this message from it right now :) it's a beautiful thing. I never thought I'd be much good with a qwerty keyboard, but it isn't that bad. Anyway, that's all for now!

Helicopter ride!

Okay, so this morning I got to go on a Helicopter ride in St. George, most random thing ever, but it was SO COOL! By the way, thank you Serena for inviting me, you're AWESOME! So there are picture yet to come, and I WILL post them. So we took off and went around the temple quarry trail (for those of you who know where that is) and flew straight through Green Valley, the guy who was flying the helicopter, who also owns it, pointed out his house, which was easily one of the biggest pieces of property out there. He's got a HUGE lawn that he uses to land his helicopter in... AT HIS HOUSE! The one we were flying today was 3,000,000 dollars, fyi. Then we went out Snow Canyon way, and he was flying us in, out, through all of the rocks and canyons and volcanoes that were there... so basically he "saved us that hike." Then he took us over to the petroglyphs trail and "saved us that hike" too. We saw Tuacahn from above, Kayenta, all sorts of places. My friend (Serena) got to fly it by herself for a while, and we saw the temple, and got a good picture of it. We were out for probably about a half an hour or so, it was pretty amazing. So Monday I went shooting with friends, which was even better because Steve was down visiting from Kaysville, and we all love hanging out with Steve, then today I got to go fly around in a Helicopter, this has got to be one of the best weeks EVER! Okay, I'm done ranting for a while now... even though there's no one reading my blog, I guess it's nice just to have it out there. Peace.

P.S. Yes, I was too big for the Seat Belts... not like they'd help much anyway, all they'd be good for is if we DID crash, it would keep my body intact so that I could be more easily identified... at least that's what the pilot was saying :D Luckily... we didn't crash.
